Technical & back ground Information about the Shape®tee.
Material.	The Shape®tee is made from a high tech material. In the development of this new golftee this was the biggest problem. To be environmental neutral and having the resistance against the forces when being hit was the biggest challenge. Also the used material should be flexible because the tee has to bend in the direction of the hit. This resulted in a high tech material that is 50 times more expensive than the normally used materials. But we succeeded in finding the right compromise.
Why the unusual shape?	The shape is a result off a development with many trial and error cycles. The shape in combination with the material makes the tee a product that is environmental neutral with a optimized hitting performance.
Why three heights?	The soil of the teeboxes is different all over the world. In some cases it is hard as a rock and in other circumstances so soft that the players tee up the ball as high as possible. Also the personal preferences of the players are different. This resulted in three heights of 40, 50, 60 mm. With these heights we cover about 100% percent of the desired teeing heights.
Approval	A golftee may not be a device which helps you to point the ball in the right direction. Because you can not see this tee when hitting the ball, or in some cases only partial, you may use it in every event.
Tests	We have tested this tee extensively in the Netherlands, but also in the US and Dubai. Never the tees has broken! At this moment test are going on in France. The test players all say that they hit the ball better. (we have no scientific evidence for this statement)
General remark	We try to be as open about this new tee as we can. But still there are some items we keep secret. Nevertheless we have protected this new design worldwide.
Prices	We have some remarks about the pricing of this golftee. We know it looks expensive, but it is not. The developmentcosts and the cost of the durable material makes it a good value for money. Furthermore an average player uses about 10-12 normal tees per round. This means that in 4 to 7 rounds one has to pay the same price for the old golftees as for the Shape®tee. And with the Shape®tee he or she still can play on.
